I think vampires will always hold a special place in mythology.  These creatures touch on some of our most deeply held desires and fears:  lust, death, and immortality just to hit the big three.  It is little wonder that they hold such an interest for our culture.

Same goes for me.

These stories are centered most upon more 'heroic' versions of vampires.  However, many of those they meet are not so noble of character.  Quite the contrary....
